Xbox Update: October 2026

This was a bit of a mixed month for Xbox.

I didn’t get into AC Odyssey at all even though that was the plans. I instead spearheaded an absolutely massive project at Book Notification, which was an Author Genre Search.

It’s a pretty big deal as all those other book websites use the same dataset which is honestly very weak. This was something we completely built by ourselves, and I personally assigned genres to something like 4000 authors over the last month.

Heck of a job and very proud of it but it affected xbox playing a fair bit.

Not all bad though – I got into a new Roguelite. Halls of Torment. Got a LOT of steps to it.

I also went through roguelites and logged achievements in a few just to get them on my list and bought some like Aschend to Zero and Absolum.

I briefly started Forza Horizon 6 too.

Hopefully October will be a bit more chill.
