Sleep
I need it so bad.
Dear god.
Since 2pm today I have just been fucking exhausted. Fighting it, trying to stay up as long as I can. Now 7pm, the wife and son went to the movies so I’m left looking after Ella. I’m scared to even blink in case my eyes don’t open again. So much work to still try and get caught up on too, and all I want to do is cuddle up in bed, put on a random sitcom and pass the fuck out.
Boy that sounds nice.
Mmmm electric blanket.
NO.
Stay awake damnit.
Getting back in the swing of things
I’ll post the rest of my trip report later today, as well as any videos if I took any. Even though I had my Flip Mino HD on me, I think I only took one video which was of the buffet at the Novotel in London, and the ridiculous amounts of black pudding I ate.
So I arrived back on Sunday, just in time for the Superbowl. I watched about an hour of it then recorded it and went to sleep about 8pm. Woke up at 4am and watched the rest of it – was bloody brilliant. Then around 9am I went downtown to run some errands and I wore my Steelers hoodie. This is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – wearing something supporting the team that just won the Superbowl. I had people honking their horns at me, giving me thumbs up everywhere I went and even acting out the catch. It was quite amusing.
Monday I ended up not doing too much in the afternoon or that, then fell asleep about 7pm. I ended up getting a great sleep though, waking up today at 6am. I’m now going to begin the process of getting back into the swing of things, as this aptly-titled blog post suggests. That involves unpacking my suitcase, cleaning up stuff, doing laundry and also some much needed work, then hopefully relaxing for the rest of the day and playing Dead Space which I just rented.
Alright, 7am – time for a shower then to TACKLE THE DAY HEAD ON.
Back Home
Well I am back home now. Lots to write about, but I am fucking exhausted and still suffering from jetlag. Time to go to sleep just wanted to say hi!!!
