The Shield is so awesome

Season 2 Episode 6 spoiler here.

Just watched the episode where the chief is a beat cop for the day, and a dude burst into a womens shelter, killed a bunch of women and took his kid.  Oh man – Mackey was in the apartnment, no guns, and the dude had the gun pointed at him.  Then he shoots the hooker!  And it’s like holy shit this is intense WTF is going to happen – then the kid comes out and the dad is distracted, Mackey DIVES for the blinds, yanks them down and BOOM, sniper shot takes the bad guy out.

So fucking awesome I had to watch it twice.  My favourite part of The Shield so far.
