Well today sucked

Today was just awful.  Basically since Saturday I haven’t did any “real” work – I’ve fell behind in a lot of e-mails etc.  Well today(Wednesday) I was feeling mentally better in the sense that my fever was gone and so had dizziness/hallucinations, but I was still really physically ill, throwing up a lot, coughing like crazy, the chills etc.

However because “mentally” I was well, this somehow translated to me thinking I was fine, and trying to do work.  What that resulted in is me spending all day on the computer accomplishing nothing, feeling like crap, getting frustrated and….yeah, accomplishing nothing!  Sweet!

I don’t even know what I am talking about right now, my mind is all over the place.  To show how bad it is I had to ask Brando at 11pm tonight what fucking day it was, as I seriously had no idea at all.  I dunno I need to go lie down.

Sick

Well I am sick again.  Friday I was feeling a bit blah, Saturday I had the chills and a bit of a cough, so I decided to relax, and go to bed earl that night.  Well Sunday I woke up at deaths door.  High fever, headache, the chills, runny nose, sore throat, muscle aches and one of the worst coughs in the history of the world.  This is an incredibly painful cough right from the lungs, and is no fun at all.

Of course I just go to war with the illness.  During the course of yesterday, I:

• Had 12 Advil Liquid Gels.
• Had 8 Tylenol Cold & Flu.
• Vicks vaporub on my chest and feet 3 times a day.
• 3 drinks of Buckleys.
• Echinachea
• Multivitamin
• Vitamin E
• Vitamin C
• Listerine Mouthwash 6 times during the day.
• Honey Lemon Tea.
• Chicken soup.
• Gatorade.
• Gargled with salt & water 6 times.

Yep I went to war with the motherfucker.  I fell asleep last night at 10pm, then woke up at 5am coughing like crazy.  I literally coughed(a painful one too) for 20 straight minutes.  That was no fun – but I managed to get some tea into me which made me feel better.

So today I am going to have more of the above, and just stay in bed and try and sleep/fight it off.  Just hope my kids don’t get this too.

I think I am responsible for the death of Test

Ex-WWE wrestler Andrew Martin, aka Test, died this morning, and I think I may be responsible.

I was making plans last night as next month I am going to Toronto for a few days.  Toptenguy is coming down from Halifax to watch Wrestlemania, then the next day we are going to go watch the Blue Jays opener.  He then wants to go hang out with Melanie, Melanie is bolded, on the Tuesday, leaving me high and dry in Toronto unless I want to take the train or bus home.

So I spoke to some people I know in Whitby, and arranged a big poker tournament for the Tuesday, then I’ll crash at someones house there, and Toptenguy will pick me up on the Wednesday.  I mentioned this to Brando, and he is like “Hey that’s where Test is from, you should hang out with him.”

So I e-mailed him.

I e-mailed Andrew Martin last night to say that I would be in Whitby, and if he will be in Whitby at that time, perhaps we could hang out.

Hours later he was announced as dead.

Did I kill him?  Did the invitation to hang out to me get too much for him that he killed himself over it?  Or was he so excited at hanging out with the motherfucking Scotsman, that he had a heart attack?

Oh well fuck him – I’ll never forgive him for going over Shane McMahon and the Posse at 1999.

In other news, I’ve stopped watching The Shield……just so my wife can catch up.  I am at the season 3 finale and she is now hooked and blasting through it, and is on Season 2 already.  So she should be caught up in a couple of days.  In the meantime I downloaded every episode of Spin City, and will go through that.
