XBox Update: Finally Beat Metro 2033 Redux

Posted by Scotsman on September 9, 2019 in XBox |

I didn’t forget about updating here or anything – I just haven’t updated as I haven’t been playing much XBox.

as an example the only game I have been playing is Metro 2033 Redux. I started that on June 13th. It’s September 9th and I literally just finished the game 5 minutes ago.

Three freaking months for one game that How Long To Beat suggests you can beat in 9-22 hours. According to Trueachievements I only played for 10 hours too. So 10 hours in 3 months. Yikes.

I’ve got a better work schedule set out now that will hopefully encourage me to play more video games now. Here’s how my spreadsheet currently stands:

XBox Games to Wrap Up: 165
New XBLA Games: 72
New XBox 360 Games: 101
New XBox One Games: 188
Sports/Racing Games: 52

And I am not even sure that is 100% up to date. For example probably some EA Access games not on there. Then there is Game Pass games that I want to play etc.

So anyway not sure exact plans. I won’t start a daily achievement streak yet – but it’s possible I will do that as a new years resolution.

The way my work schedule is set up now, Friday-Sunday are essentially days off. A couple of hours work in the morning (basically e-mails, sport tips etc) and then the days are mine.

So I think my only goal for the rest of the year will be to play as many “New” games as possible, and once per week knock a game off the spreadsheet from the “XBox Games to Wrap Up” list.

So every Friday my to do list will have “1 game off the Xbox Games to Wrap Up” list and I basically have until the next Friday to do that.

Kind of exciting actually to have that beaten and my new schedule working out. Now I get to pick a new game!

Anyway here are my stats:

Gamerscore: 279,118
TA Score: 445,313
Achievements: 11,863
TA Ratio: 58%
100% Games: 114 (It was 113 but Mason got every chivo in Minecraft)

Now I am gonna look through my games and pick out a new one to play!
