XBox Update: December 2021

Crap – as I’m writing this, I realized I had Fifa 19 written down to work my way throughb efore it leaves Gamepass.

Apparently it is leaving today so who knows – could have already left by the time I am writing this. I’ll check when I am done work for the day.

Anyway my time schedule is better these days. Here’s a quick update on what I’ve been playing:

Fifa 19: Just got a couple of achievements in this. At 5/41. Hopefully I’ll be able to sit down tonight and get a few more. If not no worries – not the last sports game that has screwed me over. I’m sure if I ever started to care about my percentage again, I could rent these games or something.

Phoenix Point: My favourite type of game these days is the turn based strategy games like XCom etc. This is a similar game. I started that and have put in a lot of hours. It’s a fun game but also very difficult and frustrating – a lot of that is just how different the combat is.

I’m more adjusted to it now though. Anyway I’m at 9/47 achievements for it.

The Gardens Between: This one was leaving Gamepass so I spent a little bit of time playing through it and beating it. Maybe took about 90 minutes? Fun game well worth getting baked and playing, ha.

Far Cry New Dawn: Slowly grinding away at this. I’m at 42/50 right now. Will 1k it eventually. It’s a nice pick up and play for 5 minutes type game.

Agent A: Fun puzzle game like escape room style. I’ve played through the first episode so far. At 7/30 so far.

Football Manager 2022: Been playing this on Windows via PC Gamepass. 6/98 achievements so far. Goddamn 98 is insane. Anyway I am not super addicted to Football Manager like I was back as late as 2014 which is a shame. I’ve got a Newcastle game going but not super into it yet. Hopefully that changes!!!
