XBox Update: November 2022
Well November 2022 ended up being a great month for me, as I rediscovered my love of Xbox!
Things have been horrific this year. But I had to go for surgery mid-November and then just lay on the couch for 2 weeks, unable to work at my desk. This all resulted in me getting used to sitting at my TV, and deciding oh hey maybe I’ll try Xbox.
The buddy I gameshare with bought the game Evil West and for whatever reason, that just hit the spot. Truly reinvigorated me in terms of gaming. I ended up going through and creating all these Xbox groups with like games I have on the go, games I want to play next, games I have installed that I need to grind a few chivos in before uninstalling etc.
Good stuff. Hopefully it continues. Here’s what I did on Xbox in November:
Evil West: As mentioned, got into this and bloody love it. 10/29 achievements so far. Probably beat it within the first couple of days of December.
Escape Academy: Beat this with my daughter. 22/27 achievements. Can probably 1k it easy enough just have to go through and play a few levels again no biggie.
Hidden Through Time: A Where’s Waldo type game. Played a few levels with the family, got 5/19 achievements.
Family Feud: Happened to win an achievement in this for playing a party battle game with 10 players. By accident but not complaining!
Level 22: I wanted a quick game I could have on the go when I only have like 15-20 minutes and this fits the bill. 7/23 achievements so far.
WWE 2K22: Bought this in the Black Friday sale and immediately downloaded all AEW stuff. Seems fun so far. 3/54 achievements.
Unpacking: Different style of puzzle game and been playing it with the family. Quite fun. 7/25 so far.
It’s Quiz Time: Got a few chivos in this. 21/38. We play this as a family and it’s a fair bit of fun.
Football Manager 2023: 8/100 in this so far. I didn’t bother grinding FM 2022 although it was tempting. I’ll just play this naturally.
Surgeon Simulator 2: Daughter wanted to play this so we are trying it. It’s nice not caring about % anymore as I don’t mind starting games like this for the hell of it. 6/30 so far.
